Good to know

Let’s get you on court.

I’m a complete beginner. Where should I start?

Our Complete Beginner adult classes are designed for your first steps in tennis. Juniors start with an age-appropriate program. Prefer individual attention? A private lesson is a great way to begin.

How do I choose the right class?

Explore the adult or junior programs for level descriptions and current schedules. If you’re unsure, tell us about your experience and goals and we’ll help you choose.

Where are lessons held?

We offer programs at East Bay courts, including Live Oak Park and James Kenney Park in Berkeley and Bushrod Park in Oakland. Check your selected program or booking confirmation for the exact location.

Can I take a lesson with a friend?

Yes. Semi-private lessons let you train with a partner of a similar level. Explore coaches and lesson options, or contact us about a private group.

Where can I find current pricing and availability?

Select your program or coach to view the current schedule, pricing, and registration options. Class times and available spots vary by program and location.

Small steps. Real progress.

Your month on court.

Four connected themes give every session a purpose. We adapt the drills and challenge to your level, then bring it all together in play.

  1. WEEK 01

    Find your rhythm

Forehands & backhands. Build balanced movement, clean contact, and a more consistent rally.

  2. WEEK 02

    Own the net

Volleys & overheads. Move forward with confidence and learn to finish the point.

  3. WEEK 03

    Start strong

Serve & return. Develop a repeatable start and get the point going with purpose.

  4. WEEK 04

    Put it into play

Rallies & match play. Practice decisions, scoring, and the patterns you’ve learned.

Repeat, refine, and grow. Progression is based on readiness—not a fixed number of weeks.

Your court. Your community.

See you on court.
